State of Unique!

This is Sonja Rasula, founder of the wildly successful Unique LA, the largest independent design and gift show in the country. She launched LA's biggest food cart festival too, renting the Rose Bowl to host that one like some superstar TV producer.... only she isn't. She used her savings to get it all going. She is a community-building juggernaut who knows it takes more than just a good product to stand out in the crowd. I devoted an entire chapter to her in Recipe for Press titled "Making It At Market" where she shares what makes a vendor, and a show at this level, successful.
