Chef Hugh Acheson.... a slam dunk at the James Beard Foundation Awards!

Congratulations are in order for chef Hugh Acheson (featured in my book in a six page Q&A on how he values editorial as a key ingredient in getting word out about his restaurants and how he and his staff work to anticipate editor's needs.) Last night he was awarded the prestigious James Beard best chef in the Southeast! He scored a second Beard award for best cookbook in American cooking for his beautifully illustrated "A New Turn in the South."
