One Writer, 4 Stories

I was a freelance writer for 18 years, often contributing to six publications (two regionals, four nationals plus a few blogs) at any given time. Many of the subjects I covered benefited from this, receiving placements in multiple pages and places over time. Recently I noticed that some of my favorite regional stories were written by Atlanta-based Kate Abney below, who may have four to six articles in regional magazines each issue. Google a writer's name before you pitch. Read their work and get to know the publications they write for. There may be more than one opportunity for your business and should be pitched with this in mind.
